The kids have had fun the last few days. Today was deemed "Pirate Day" so we had the cutest pirates around.

Last night we set up the slip-n-slide for some more fun. Leland decided to try it out and had a great time also.

This is our friend Donna with the kids on the last night of
VBS. They had a program that
Ryland did wonderful in. The kids had lots of fun learning and making new friends at her church.

I was going through the camera to get the previous pictures when I discovered some I had missed and wanted to post from our travels.
Sandy has a turkey that sings and dances the Turkey Trot. It is hilarious. Reese tried out her dancing skills with it also.
Sandy painted Raylee and my toes red, silver, and blue for the holiday. Ray thought we were pretty special.
Raylee loves to dig in the dirt. The messier the better.
The Malletts used to live way outside of Artesia on Mallett Road. On our way out of town we decided to stop by to see the old place.
This used to house their treehouse. Not much is left out there, but it was fun to see.

I loved the Pirate Day idea. Was that yours or the kids? Very creative. You do a great job of keeping them entertained, learning, and having fun.
Oh, that was their idea. Ryland and Leland's mom have always played pirates. The costume Raylee wore was Ry's halloween costume a couple of years ago. They happened to be playing well together that day, so they decided to be pirates. Fun times.
Cute pictures!!! By the way, we finally updated the blog. I know, it's about time!! Also, my email has changed now: it's
