I know, I know

It has been too long since I have updated. After a while it is just overwhelming thinking about all that needs to be caught up. So I've decided to do a bunch of pictures and briefly tell about them to catch up. Now that tax season is over, maybe I can be better about updating and letting you know what is going on in our world.

Ryland performed in the Kindergarten Program. He was such a ham. This is before the show began. I got lots of video of him being silly on stage. So different from my shy little boy of the past.

This past weekend we went to Big Spring for several reasons. My in-laws joined us and we had a picnic on Saturday. The weather was beautiful.

Lee bought crackers so that the kids could feed the ducks.

Grammy and Reese watching the ducks.

Ryland too cool in his shades.

Raylee too cool in her shades.
This is Claire and Reese. They were so cute together during our time in Big Spring.
One day I went to make sure Raylee had actually fallen asleep for her nap. This is how I found her. I have such a girly girl.

This is Sandy and my latest find. I just love this dress on her.

A tea party with Grammy and Donna.

This is Keynan and Raylee back during Spring Break in March. Lately, Raylee asks several times a day if she can see her cousin Keynan again. She just loved him. These two are going to be cute to watch grow up.

Donna keeps the kids quite frequently. It is always lots of fun there. This day was cleaning day. Of course a cleaning woman needs her chapstick on.

Reese doing her part to clean also.

This is in Donna's yard (our's doesn't look this good yet). That hat was one of mine when I was small.

Fun in the sun. Hats and bubble guns - what could be more fun.

And now shades. :)

Fun Times

Leland's mom and sister flew in on Monday and aren't leaving until Friday. We've had a fun week of playing and shopping. Tuesday the boys skipped school so that we could have an entire day of fun. It was decided we would try out the Dallas World Aquarium. It was very pricey to get in, but worth every penny. We all really enjoyed it. We stayed for several hours - even having lunch there. When we first arrived we discovered it was Arlington Kindergarten Day - but thankfully they were all friendly and considerate. We ate lunch a little early hoping they would all clear out giving us more room to look around. Unfortunately I forgot cameras - both mine and Ryland's. Thankfully though, Lesa has a good camera phone with the Internet, so I did end up with a few pictures of the day.

This bird flew down and perched about 4 inches from my hand. He was making me a little nervous with that beak. Ryland was wanting to pet him, but once again, that beak told me to say no.

This bird was really proud of him worm. He even tried to give it to Sandy.

There is a tunnel that goes under the shark tank. It was really cool to watch them swim all around us.
Above the shark tank.

There were 2 manatee's in another tank along with large turtles and catfish.

Yesterday we did some shopping. I'm not sure of the plan for today - probably some much needed sleep. :) I hope everyone else is having a wonderful week also.
