It's Finished

The yearbook is finished! Saturday was an exciting day in our world. After many, many long days and nights, the final pages were shipped off to the plant. To celebrate we went on a date. We don't go out by ourselves very often at all. (We are hoping to get better at that.) We had a nice time. We ate at the new Cheesecake Factory right up the road - wonderful of course. We then intended to go to a movie but decided to just walk around the mall and do some shopping. We circled the entire mall in no time. It's amazing how quickly you can do things without kids. :) We had a gift card to spend at Macy's and then another to spend at Kohl's. We had a great time. It was nice to be relaxed and just with each other. The kids also had a great time with our friends Ken and Mary. They are some adopted grandparents we have here. The kids love to spend time with them. Sunday was a nice day of resting and friends also. So a good weekend again. Leland slept in this morning since he has 1st block conference. He decided he deserved it. :) They instituted "Bring your pillow and stuffed animal day" for the day after the yearbook is finished. Leland still has his Pete Dog (although there is controversy with his sister on how this dog joined their family). It should be a good day. And to make the day even better - it is raining! I love the rain. Such a clean smell fills the air. I hope everyone else has a good Monday also.

Dates are so wonderful. I never really appreciated as much until Jacey arrived. I'm glad everyone is doing well!

Yea, it is finished! I am so glad. As Kelly said, on to the next deadline :) But, at least you got to have a fun date this weekend.

Did you know that it snowed all morning in Big Spring yesterday? Heavy snowfall, but it didn't stick at all. It was pretty, though :)

You are such a great support to Leland. Not so many wives give such support; rather than resenting time away, you enter in to the passion of the project and are his number one cheerleader. He is blessed to have you!
