I haven't really been into blogging lately. I'd like to blame it on the holiday rush, but I just haven't had much to say really. So here's catch up session.

The girls and I went shopping with our friend Donna last Friday. Ikea was a stop to get my hutch. Of course we had to check out the kids section. They had a good time.

Monday Leland came home with a gingerbread house kit. The kids had so much fun decorating. Although their favorite part was eating the icing. :)
Don't worry, she didn't really get any.

Finished product.
(MaxAnn, we really missed decorating with you this year)

Since we had Christmas with my family over the Thanksgiving holiday, my girls ended up with some new outfits. Last Sunday they both wore their new church clothes. I only ended up with a picture of Raylee though - Reese was not interesting in posing. :)

Isn't she adorable? Just so pretty.

Reese got this sweater from Tyler and Kelly for Christmas. Leland went to the store one evening and came home with one for Raylee not realizing Reese had one to match. They were so cute. Unfortunately, this was the day Raylee started throwing up so they didn't get to show them off to anyone.
My Reese girl turned 6 months last Friday. She has grown so much. She is sitting all by herself now and loves to practice that skill playing with toys on the floor. I have caught her several times up on all fours also. I'm sure crawling will be happening soon. She is still a rather happy child. She still prefers me but Leland has had a few good moments with her lately. She is eating cereal and stage 1 foods very well (she gets mad when it is all gone). This 6 month mile mark was reflective for me. This was a crazy 6 months. Having a baby; 2 weeks later finding a house to buy; 3 weeks later moving; 6 weeks later my oldest started kindergarten; then just settling into our new home. It's really all a blur. But we are so happy with our number 3 and love watching her grow.

How cute are your kiddos! I'm glad you guys like the sweater! That's really funny that Leland got one for Raylee. I absolutely love Raylee's dress with her purse to match. Grandma would be so proud. We love you guys.

Aww, decorating gingerbread houses! How fun :) I've seen those kits and thought Will would really enjoy it. I'll have to look into that AFTER the bunko party :)

Raylee's little dress and purse are precious! I love the big red bow on the side...so very chic.

And Reese is six months already! Wow, how time flies. I knew that, but to see it in print makes it even more real, I guess.

It was good talking to you today. I hope you found some good shoes for the kids :)
