In some ways I can't believe she is turning 2 and in other ways it feels like she has been 2 for a long time. Raylee has grown up so much since we left Big Spring. She is talking like a pro, playing well with others and looking more like a little girl all the time. I substituted at the high school today so the girls had a day with our friend Donna. Raylee loved it! She somehow talked Donna into buying her a grocery cart and a purse with contents. She had a great day. This evening we had hot dogs for supper (her favorite) and then called the neighbors over to sing Happy Birthday and share some cake. Poor Ray though threw up all over her plate. We are on round 3 of the cough bug around here so she has lots of flem sometimes causing her to loose it. We felt bad for her. But she was ready to go again after a quick bath. She loved opening her gifts. Ryland was excited for her to open the gift he got her because he was ready to play with it. :) She did love one in pecticular though - the Cabbage Patch kid. Her eyes got so big when she saw it. She also got another outfit for it so we quickly had to change clothes. We've decided that she'll need a shopping cart to haul around all her stuff now since she has a blanket, a doggie, and now a baby. It was a good evening though. We were all tired and everyone was in bed by 8. I'll end with some of my favorite Raylee things right now.
She is talking so well. She says Thank You and You're Welcome so sweet. She has also started calling Reese - Reesy. It is so precious.
She is great with Reese. She loves to help take care of her and retrieve things Reese might need.
She is a great helper. She's been watching the Wonder Pets and now says Teamwork and sings the Clean Up song when she helps me clean. She loves to help unload the dishwasher especially.
She gives the sweetest hugs and kisses.
She is extremely ornery. She gets a little twinkle in her eye and you can tell she's up to something.
She always makes us laugh.
We call her our Wild Girl because she has no fear. She's always willing to try anything. Ryland and I had a good laugh watching her be crazy the other day.

Happy Birthday, Ray! She's such a sweetheart. It was so wonderful getting to see her last week and see how much she has grown.
I'm so glad you finally found a Cabbage Patch you liked...and one with brown hair and blue eyes just like our girl :) Glad you had a good time :)
