Raylee Beth

I haven't talked about Raylee in a while. She's had a rough summer. She struggled when we were in the moving process but quickly made this home when our stuff came out of boxes. She was getting quite adjusted and then her boys went to school. Last week she missed Ryland so much. She would run to get her shoes when I said it was time to pick up Ry. I had hoped this week would be better but she cried when we dropped him off today. Grammy is coming to visit all next week so I'm hoping having a dedicated playmate will help with this transition.

Here are some of my favorite things about Raylee right now.

She loves her daddy. She always has been a Daddy's girl. She screams with excitement every time the door opens and he is behind it. She will snuggle in his arm and fall asleep anytime. Her daddy makes her world better.

She loves to help with Reese. She enjoys helping with diaper changes and brings me all the supplies. Since Raylee is a blanket girl, she makes sure that Reese always has a blanket also.

She can sleep anywhere and anytime. Putting her down has always been extremely easy. She prefers to be put in bed with her blanket and she puts herself to sleep. I even find her in bed before I've put her there sometimes. If she's tired, she'll sleep.

She gives the most precious kisses. They can brighten any day.

She is a growing girl. I have had to buy more clothes for her because she is growing out of all of them. I had to purchase 3T t-shirts! She's not even 2 yet! She is still in 24 mo/2T bottoms but has a big belly to fill those tops.

Although the thumb sucking and blanket carrying can get frustrating, it is so cute. I know that breaking her will be difficult, but it is so cute right now.

She has a wonderful belly laugh. She enjoys getting tickled and laughing.

She is extremely ornery. Ryland thinks just like his dad so Leland can predict what he is about to do. With Ray, you can see her wheels turning but aren't sure what she's up to until she takes action. She loves to pick on her dad causing him to tickle her.

She loves her brother. Even though they bicker a lot, they do play well together. She misses her playmate now that he's in school.

She has the most beautiful eyes. Her eyelashes have always been super long and very distinctive. Her big round blue eyes along with those lashes will be killers on the boys one day.
