Easter Time

We've had a fun Easter holiday this year, starting with Ryland's party and egg hunt at Children's Day Out last Wednesday. Wednesday is when the cold front first arrived so the original plan for his class to do the egg hunt at the park was foiled. There is a small grassy area at his school so they did a quick version there instead. They are cute at 4 and 5. They actually understand what they are supposed to be doing and really enjoy it. That afternoon was the party which as usual included way too much chocolate. But I guess that's part of the fun. :)

Ryland's party.

Leland's sister Lesa came to town on Wednesday also. She was able to stay through Saturday and the kids loved having her here. Single aunts are always so much fun. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of her with the kids to document the trip but lots of fun was had by all.

Notice the shorts and the flip-flops. :)

Saturday included some surprise snow playing. I still can't believe it actually snowed in April this far south. Ryland had a great time though making snow balls and tromping around. We also colored our eggs Saturday evening. We've talked the kids into waiting until at least tomorrow for our egg hunt since the forecast is predicting warmer weather again. So hopefully tomorrow evening will work out.

Ryland enjoying the snow. He just loves it.

Today has been a nice family day. We took the kids picture outside this morning because we needed to document the Easter Sunday with snow. Luckily Raylee is a very warm natured girl and we did it really quick. :) We also always love our Sunday afternoon nap with everyone in our bed. It is always a special time.

They love to hug.

We missed the sandals she's wearing. Snow was not expected when I bought the outfit.

Checking out the pretty dress.

So on to another week. The kids are headed to babysitters this week since we are getting close to tax day and it is getting stressful at my office. I'm sure they will have more fun playing with other kids than they would at my office anyway. I hope everyone had a nice weekend even if it was cold.

The dress is beautiful! I love it! I'm glad your kiddos had fun with their Aunt Lesa, the snow and egg coloring and hunting. What a crazy weekend!

I thought the dress was beautiful also. :) It really made her blue eyes stand out.

Your kids are just too precious!! When are you due again?

What a fun weekend! I can't believe it snowed-I missed most of it since I was at LTC in Dallas, but it did even snow a little there! So strange...

Hope you are having a great week! :) Blessings~
