We have two extra dauschunds at our house right now. I have a client that finds homes for rescued dauschunds. I had told her before Christmas that my sister-in-law was wanting a dog and so she's been keeping me informed of her latest finds. These two were found together by the city. Since no one claimed them the pound called my client to rescue them. After Leland and I went by to pick one out for Lesa, Leland decided to see if his mom would be interested in the other one. They are both beautiful dogs and are very sweet and are living with us until February 8th. We gave them both baths last night and played with them in the kitchen for awhile. The long haired is very outgoing and busy. It was difficult catching a picture of him. The smooth haired is very calm and timid. He loves to just sit in our laps and be loved. Our dauschund AJ has done well with the new arrivals. He did get a little jealous last night when they got baths and he didn't so he got a bath after we put them back in their crate for the night. It's been a fun few days and will continue to be fun for 2 more weeks. We believe Lesa and Lee and Sandy will be very pleased with their new additions. :)
And I had to include this great picture of my mom with Raylee. My mom has had a good time this week with the kids. Raylee has been a little bit of a handful because she's been extra busy and isn't too interested in the word NO but this too will pass. :) My mom flies home tomorrow evening and we will miss her but have really enjoyed the visit.

The dogs are cute! I wonder what Lesa, Lee and Sandy will name them.
The picture of your mom and Raylee is great, too :)
I don't know. Maybe they will comment on here and let us know (hint, hint). I know of one Lesa was thinking about but I'm not sure if that is what she's decided for sure or not.
Tyler's jealous. He wants a dog so badly right now. He thinks that Keynan is my "pet," so he wants one, too.
