Yeah for Moms!

My mom is here for the week. My parents did arrive safely on Friday evening and then my dad headed back to Canyon Saturday afternoon. He had to drive in 4-wheel drive from Lubbock to Canyon but did arrive safely. He plans to attempt to make it home today.

The kids were so excited to see my parents and get to spend the week with Grandma. She is looking forward to the playing also. We always get several Papa and Grandma visits during the winter since they are busy with camp all summer long and can't get away. So the kids get lots of spoiling. I'm glad to get the week with my mom also. I just wish I didn't have to work so much and could spend more time with her but I guess my working alot is why she is here. It will be a good week though and hopefully safe flying travels home on Saturday.

I do want to thank my mother-in-law for last week. Her visit got cut a little short because of the weather but she will be back in a couple of weeks anyway for a trip to Austin with Leland and the kids. As always she was a great help and kept everything rolling at the house. Ryland was starting to get cabin fever since it was way to cold to get outside and play but maybe he can get out this week with my mom if the weather warms up a little.

Thanks again to both of our moms for helping during such a busy time and keeping us sane. We appreciate it so much.
