Back to the Grind

We are officially back to our usual chaotic schedule today. Leland had to return to school for in-service today so the kids had to come back to my office with me. Thankfully, my boss is out today because they always seem to have a hard time adjusting back to the rules and expectations of staying with me at work. Luckily they only have to join me for next week and then it is grandma spoiling time. My MIL (Grammy) is coming for a week and then my mom (Grandma) is coming the following week. January is my busiest month at work so I recruit help so that my kids aren't totally neglected and we are all fed. :)

We have had a nice holiday time though. We have accomplished most of the to-do list and the remaining items plan to be finished this weekend. The kids closets are finally cleaned out and rearranged after the influx of toys from Christmas gifts - yeah!

Leland has lots of UIL meets this month and will be traveling quite often (another good reason moms are coming). I always feel like January is flying by when it is actually only the first few days of the month. But we always seem to survive the storm and are glad when it is all over.

I guess you noticed I joined the rest of blogland and added lilypie countdowns for my kids. I've decided they are nice to see when I visit other sites and can't remember how old their children are, so I guess I joined the "cool" ranks. :) I have been trying to upload some pictures for over a week now and blogger has not cooperated yet. Hopefully pictures will appear soon and not just boring wordy posts. :) Have a great weekend.
