Trip to Kansas City for my Cousins Wedding.

Raylee and I flew to Kansas City last Saturday. One of my cousins was getting married and Leland told me to take one of the girls. Raylee has been needing some one-on-one time, so it turned into a wonderful weekend. Here are some pictures of our time.

This Raylee so excited at the airport. She was jumping up and down in the car on our way. We grabbed some McDonalds before we boarded. Her excitement was very contagious. She had me so excited for our trip also.

My parents drove to Kansas City so they picked us up from the airport. After stopping by the hotel to freshen up, we headed to the Crown Center. We did a little shopping (Raylee wanted to buy everything of course). Then we headed to Kaleidoscope (a free art center by Hallmark). Raylee loved doing the many art projects. It was lots of fun.

After the Crown Center, Mom, Raylee and I went to get our nails done. The information desk lady told us of a place not too far away from the Crown Center. It was a great little place. It was close to closing so we practically had the place to ourselves. Raylee loves to get her nails painted. She was also so very patient since her nails only take about 10 minutes and ours took an hour. :)

We then met several of our family for supper at PF Chang's. All of the Click clan had come to the wedding so it was great to see all of them. I hadn't seen several of them in a few years. It was great to catch up.
We did more visiting at the hotel before finally going to bed around midnight. Our room was full of morning people, so we were still up at 6am. We took our time getting ready and then ate at Cracker Barrel with everyone again. Raylee loved entertaining her 2nd cousins Emma and Ella.

Mom, Dad, Raylee and I the went to church at a nearby congregation. It was a good service with a very good guest speaker. We were glad we chose that place.
We picked up a snack and then headed to the wedding location (yes, the wedding was on Sunday). It was an outdoor wedding. Seemed a little chancy to me but the weather was perfect. The temperature was great and there was only a slight breeze. A perfect wedding day for sure.
Family on one side of me.

Family on the other side of me.

A few more behind me.
After the ceremony we were to mingle on the lawn while appetizers were served. Raylee made some new friends (the flower girls) and enjoyed chasing around the twins.

These are the 3 great-granddaughters that were at the wedding.

My cousin Ashley - the beautiful bride.

I loved the setup of the ceremony. No one had a bad seat.

Cousins at the reception.

Everyone had a flower in their napkin. Raylee loves flowers.
When it was time for us to head back to the airport I began looking for Raylee. I found her helping the crew take down the chairs. That girl just loves to be busy no matter how.

Ashley had flowers in memory of our grandparents.
So Raylee and I had a great weekend. She talked non stop on the plane on the way home, but crashed as soon as she got in her chair in the car. She was great the entire trip, so patient and cute. I'm glad I had a couple of days with my middle child.
