So much has happened and so many people have visited since my last post. I've been working on this one for a week but decided I really better find the time to finish it before we go to camp because I'll have plenty more to post after that.
So first off, we had a patio done. It was actually done right before Memorial Weekend (which was great because we had all that company). We have really enjoyed it. We LOVE the swing and all the space we now have..JPG)

The next visitors were my brother Mitch and his family Katie and Jacey. They came to town with their junior high youth group. My boys were still in school but my girls and I managed to join them for a day at Six Flags. It was really fun with just me and Katie and our 3 little girls. They had a lot of fun together and riding the rides.
Raylee was SO excited that she was able to ride in the front of the train and ring the bell.
Reese was a little unsure of Sylvester.
After several hours at Six Flags, we went to their hotel and put the girls down for a nap. It didn't take them long to conk out. After a 2 1/2 hour nap (we woke them up), we went swimming. They had a blast. It was interesting me swimming and keeping up with 2 little girls, but we managed. :)
Right after their visit, Ryland's best friend from Big Spring came to town. All he had wanted for his birthday was to come to Dallas and play with Ryland. So they made it their family vacation. Ryland got to spend 3 days at Great Wolf Lodge with them. The boys had a great time together.
Our next visitors were my other brother Tyler and his family Kelly, Keynan, and Parker. They were just stopping through on their way to Harding to work their camp Uplift. We had a great visit with them. Our girls and their boys are stair-stepped every 9 months, so it was fun watching them play and be together.
Our next adventure was a sleepover for Ryland's birthday. His birthday is actually this week while we are at camp (he's had every birthday there except 1). But we wanted him to have a friend birthday party at home before we left. He chose 3 friends and we planned a sleepover. A camp out was the original plan, but a storm came through and changed that. The boys had a great time though. They played on the slip-n-slide for hours, had pizza, watched movies, wrestled with Leland, played some more and finally crashed during another movie sometime after midnight. It was a great first sleepover for all of us.

We girls also had fun during the party - we took our friend Donna out for her birthday. We ate at a Mongolian Grill and then got pedicures. We had a great time of relaxing and laughing. We got back to the house after the water fun and pizza. It was good to take Raylee out of the mix so that she didn't whine about wanting to play with the boys the entire time and it was good to celebrate Donna's birthday.
The next visitors were our friends Reuben and Shannon. They are going with us to NYC in August so they came to finalize the plans. Of course we did some playing also. We headed to Six Flags on Sunday afternoon. We decided that was the best time to go because we didn't wait for ANY ride. We got there at 5:30 so the sun quickly went down. We all had a great time. I took the kids (minus Reese, she had developed a fever so Donna kept her) on rides while L,R,S rode big coasters. We stayed until closing so that we could enjoy their new lighted parade. We didn't get home until nearly 11, but it was a great Six Flags experience..JPG)

We also enjoyed a night at the Ballpark while there were here. Leland got half priced tickets for Teacher Appreciation Night. We had a great time with great seats. Of course our kids never last past the 7th inning, so we departed early..JPG)

So now we're on to camp preparations. Last year we had TEAM MALLETT t-shirts made. This year Leland decided to try out the tie-dye. The shirts turned out great. The girls shirts were very big (we couldn't find XS) so Leland did some adjusting and trimming so they look good now. They also ended up with headbands and bracelets out of the extra. I'll post a picture of all of us in our shirts after we all model them at camp.
Well, that covers the last 3 weeks. It was a crazy time. I love seeing everyone. We see more people now that we live in a play city. I'll have more to post in a couple of week. Now a picture of Roscoe. :)
