Rain, Rain and More Rain

I don't know the numbers, but we've had a lot of rain in the last week. It has been much needed, so we haven't complained. The storms have scared Reese a few times, but as long as she's in my arms, she doesn't care how noisy it gets.

Last Wednesday evening we had our neighbor friend over. The kids were first playing inside, but then moved outside to run. While there, it began to rain. It wasn't lightening, so I told them to stay. They had a blast. I only had them come back in after it was getting a little too chilly.




Then yesterday we were having a wonderful lazy Saturday when we had 2 rounds of storms pass through. After the second, the street was flooded. I at first checked it out but then of course the kids wanted in the fun. The water was very cold, so we didn't last long, but it was anyway.
