Friday evening Scott and Lauren arrived with 5 youth group boys. Their goal - Six Flags. They spent the night with us and then Leland joined them Saturday morning at the park. Lauren and I had intentions of going to Ikea until it was brought to our attention that the item I was wanting to purchase would not fit into the car with all 5 kids in there also. 
So we altered our plans and headed to the mall. We met up with a college friend of mine and her 2 boys - yes that is 7 kids and 3 moms! We were a sight! The kids had fun though playing in the play area and we did manage to hit the Disney Store (it was tax-free weekend so it was packed). After meeting Scott and Leland at the house to load up the boy's stuff, it was decided that Lauren and Claire would stay for a few extra days. We were excited to get the extra time together. So we still made our Ikea trip since Leland could keep Ry and Ray. We had a good time shopping and catching up on some much needed chatting. We didn't get home until nearly 11!

Sunday we went to services at Woodland West Church of Christ where my college friend Lauren and her family attend. We also ate lunch at their house. It was so good to see them again. Ryland and I had to eat quickly though because we had a date - the Circus! The Barnum and Bailey and Ringling Bros Circus is in town. I had gone when I was very small and barely remember it so I was very excited when Leland got Ry and I tickets. We had a great time. Ryland was glued to the show. He didn't understand though why I wouldn't buy him the $10 cotton candy so we compromised with a human cannon toy. 
It was lots of fun for us but not so much for Leland. He kept the girls for me. Raylee isn't a problem because she thinks her daddy hung the moon. Reese does not like her daddy at all. So for him to be the only caretaker was a challenge. She also still refuses to take a bottle but she finally went to sleep giving him some rest and holding off until I arrived to feed her. (thank you so much Leland!)
