OK - I'll Admit It

I love our cat. I know, my family is all laughing at that statement. We discovered when I was a kid that I was allergic to cats. It broke my heart. My dad always had lots of cats running around our farm, so I taught myself to hate cats so I wouldn't be so tempted to pet and love on them. Well, I married a cat lover. It broke his heart that he couldn't have a cat when we got married. Well, my allergies have lessened some in the cat area and I have tolerated being in the same room with one. Ryland quickly became a cat lover so he and his dad were constantly trying to convince me we needed one. I gave in a month before Raylee was born. My boys were ecstatic! Pumpkin has been a great cat. He lets the kids do whatever to him and he doesn't care. He does his business outside so we don't have to deal with a litter box and he just lays around instead of getting on everything. He is great.

Well, this morning proved even more greatness. My alarm went off at 6 like usual and I headed to the bathroom. I immediately smelled poop. I looked around and all the rugs were bent up which in the past meant Pumpkin had hidden some "treasures" under one. I suddenly noticed the shower door open and saw a large pile of poop! Now, what an awesome cat is that. Instead of getting mad at us for not letting him outside, he chose a location that was easy to spot (before I stepped in it) and easy to clean. I did force Leland to get up and deal with it so I could shower, but we were quite impressed with our cat. Maybe he'll end up like the cat on "Meet the Parents" and use the toilet. :)

That's hilarious! How nice of him :) I'm glad he's been a good cat for y'all.
