Well, we did decide to go to Artesia this weekend. It finally came down to the fact that we needed a break. Since Raylee had been sick for over 2 weeks we were exhausted and needed relief help. It was a good visit. It rained the entire time so no fishing happened but Leland and I got some much needed rest, Ryland got to play pirates the whole time with Grammy, and someone else got to tend to Raylee. It was good. Also we experienced our first trip with the new car. It was very nice. We enjoyed the space alot. AJ even got to go this time. Ryland loved his headphones and Raylee learned that when she drops her toys, no one is getting them for her since no one can reach them. :)

I guess we have to get back into the groove today. Not a too busy week scheduled, just the usuals: Leland newspaper worknight tonight, church tomorrow, Leland yearbook worknight Thursday, and home football game Friday - just the usual chaos. We hope to see my parents this weekend. They will be in the area so we are trying to work schedules so that they can see the kids again. It has been since June so both of the kids have grown and changed a lot since then.

Okay, I have to say it because we may be dealing with the same fate, but the last picture of Ryland looks like our very own Mitchell Dane when he was a kid. Twilight Zone music commence. . .now.
I agree! Mom even said several times on Saturday, "He's is a lot like Mitch." That's what we get for picking on him so much - we get kids just like him. But we love him and our kids anyway. :)
